Free Fonts: Cozy Edition

Published: November 14, 2023

Try these fonts to add cozy vibes to your digital planners, notebooks and journals.

They’re also great for scrapbooking and memory keeping too!

*Fonts listed in this post are free for PERSONAL USE.

If you’d like to use them for commercial purposes check each fonts license to see if it’s allowed.

DISPLAY FONTS

These fonts are ideals for titles and headers.

FONTS · Vampire Kiss (link) · Quicksand (link)

IDEA

  • Combine 2 fonts to create fun artwork and quotes.

  • Type * using the Vampire Kiss font to create a ♡

P.S. This is available as a mobile wallpaper on Instagram (check out our highlights)

FONT · Homestead (link)

IDEA

  • Create two text layers: one filled with a color, the other outlined (instead of filled). Slightly offset the 2 for a cute effect.

    This can be done

    • for free in Canva

    • in program suites like Affinity and Adobe

    • in full versions of Pages/Word and Keynote/Powerpoint (but it will not work in iOS apps)

  • This font also includes fun variations.

FONTS · Agbalumo (link) · Bellota Text (link)

IDEA

  • Create the same title (or in this case date) in 2 different colors. Slightly offset the top layer to create a shadow affect.

  • Erase or hide the date in your digital planner and use this font to replace it for an easy way to add Halloween vibes to your day.

OTHER FONTS

FONTS · Vampire Kiss (link) · Perfect Beloved (link)

FONTS · Bellota (link) · Cutive Mono (link)

These fonts are great for cozy quotes, body text (like paragraphs and lists), and small headlines.

IDEA

  • Because these fonts aren’t as bold as those above, they’re great for replacing text in digital planners where there isn’t a lot of space to play. For example, you can replace a weekdays on a weekly spread.

  • Use these fonts to pull out quotes or important facts when taking digital notes so they stand out and are easy to find.

  • Type * using the Vampire Kiss font to create a ♡

QUICK TIPS

When looking for a free font, double check that it includes the numbers and symbols that you need. Some free fonts include them all others don’t.

I use iFont to install fonts onto my iPad. For more on how to do that, check out this quick video from our Instagram page.
